Understand what stays on your device, what online services process, and the controls available to you.

Who we are

This policy describes information handling for the Bow Trainer Android app (com.poolersoft.bowtrainer), related services and this website, operated under the name Bow Trainer team. Email bowtrainerx@hotmail.com. Bowmasters is a separate product with its own privacy policy.

Screen access and local analysis

After you start a session and accept Android screen-sharing consent, Bow Trainer reads visible frames to recognise POWER, ANGLE and aiming markers and display an estimated trajectory for training. The recognition path processes screen frames on your device; it does not upload those frames to our server. Anything visible in the shared screen may be captured. Avoid opening unrelated private content during a session, and end screen sharing through Android’s controls when you finish.

Usage Access and floating controls

With Usage Access permission, the app reads recent Android app activity events locally to determine whether the supported game is in the foreground. This controls the visibility of floating controls and trajectory previews and pauses frame analysis when you leave the game or lock the screen. This foreground-detection feature does not save usage history to files or upload it. Display-over-other-apps access allows floating controls and training previews. You can revoke these permissions in Android settings.

Recordings and images you choose to share

Optional screen recordings and thumbnails are stored on your device in app storage. Stopping a recording does not necessarily stop the screen sharing used for analysis. A recording can continue when the training display is hidden, until you stop the recording or screen sharing. If you choose to send an image through Feedback, that image is uploaded with your message. Sharing feedback images is separate from local screen analysis.

Identifiers, access checks and purchases

The app and its service providers process app/device-derived identifiers, anonymous service identifiers, authentication and purchase tokens, product identifiers, app version and access status to operate the service, check eligibility and restore purchases. Google Play Integrity supplies app, device and licensing signals. Google Play handles payment; we do not receive full payment-card details from Google Play.

Analytics, diagnostics and attribution

The app and its SDKs process app interactions, installation identifiers, device model, Android version, language, performance and error information. Firebase Analytics may derive approximate location from IP addresses; this does not require GPS access. Advertising identifiers and install-referrer information may be processed for attribution. Where Meta integrations are enabled, attribution and app events may also be processed by Meta. Servers receive connection information, including IP addresses, when contacted.

Services that process information

Google/Firebase services support analytics, authentication, remote configuration and diagnostics. Google Play supports purchases and integrity checks; ML Kit supports on-device text recognition. Backend and website infrastructure use Cloudflare. These providers may process information in countries different from yours. Information may also be disclosed to comply with lawful requests, protect the service or resolve disputes. See the Google Privacy Policy, Cloudflare Privacy Policy and, where enabled, Meta Privacy Policy.

Support communications

Feedback may include your message, images you select, an anonymous service identity and relevant app/device information. Email support receives your email address and the information you send. Include only what is needed to investigate the issue, and do not send passwords or payment credentials.

This website

This website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts or third-party embedded players. The homepage’s interactive arc runs in your browser and does not transmit its power or angle settings. Hosting infrastructure processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website. External links take you to separate services; email links open your email application.

Storage and retention

Retention depends on the record and its purpose, including service operation, support, security, purchase records and applicable legal requirements. Android app settings let you remove local app data; backup and restore settings can affect local copies. Uninstalling does not automatically delete server records or cancel Google Play subscriptions. Contact the team to ask about records associated with your use. No fixed deletion deadline is promised on this page.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can end screen sharing, revoke Usage Access and overlay permissions, manage advertising identifiers in Android and manage subscriptions through Google Play. To request access, correction or deletion of Bow Trainer service information, email bowtrainerx@hotmail.com with the subject Bow Trainer data deletion or a description of your request. Include the minimum information needed to locate your records, such as a support reference or Google Play order reference. The team may need to verify your request; legal, security or transaction requirements can affect retention. This concerns Bow Trainer information, not your Bowmasters account. See the request instructions.

Security and children’s privacy

App service endpoints use HTTPS and Google SDKs use encrypted transport. No system can guarantee absolute security. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this service, contact the team so the information and request can be reviewed.

Updates and contact

This policy may change with the app and its services. The date below the title identifies this version. Email bowtrainerx@hotmail.com.
